Tommy has always loved stand-up comedy, and has seen many of the legends perform live, including his all-time favorite comedian, George Carlin. He has never been afraid of the stage, and started his comedy career in NYC at several late night open mic nights, then relocated to FL in late 2007. In March, 2008, continued his comedy at a local comedy workshop in Jacksonville, FL.  After a few short months, Tommy was hosting at the Comedy Zone in Jacksonville, and shortly thereafter, was featuring regionally. Since then, Tommy has shared the stage with many great comedians like Rob Schnieder, Ralphie May, Kevin Pollak, Jon Reep, Billy Gardell, John Caparulo, Reno Collier, Henry Cho, Bobcat Goldthwait, Rich Vos, John Joseph, Guy Torry, Tommy Davidson, Bret Ernst, Jeff Dye, Huggy Lowdown, Damon Wayans Jr... and many others.

Tommy is a regular at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas, a guest on 99.9 FM Gator Radio's "Hometown Morning Show" in Jacksonville, FL., as well as iHeart Radio, and Lipwally.com Internet Radio. He was voted Jacksonville's "Best Local Comedian" for 2012., a Semi-Finalist in the "Florida's Funniest Comedian" competition, and the Mardi Gras Casino Comedy Challenge.

Today, Tommy still travels far and wide, taking audiences on an amazing roller coaster ride of hilarious everyday "stuff", real-life happenings, personal history, and family events in a way that any audience can relate to, and every audience loves!!

About Gil T. :

Gil Tucker, also known as Gil T., is an accomplished actor who has been recognized with an Audelco Award for his outstanding performances. He honed his skills at Performing Arts High School in New York City, famously known as FAME. During his senior year, Gil was among an elite group of three students who received a prestigious Certificate of Merit for their exceptional acting abilities.

In addition to his success on the stage, Gil has made a name for himself as a talented comedian. His comedic prowess has taken him to renowned venues such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Madison Square Garden, and The Apollo. Gil's comedic talent has also been showcased on popular platforms like Def-Jam, Showtime, and BET.

As an actor, Gil has been involved in several noteworthy productions that have garnered recognition. He has been part of Audelco award-nominated plays and has even won the coveted Best Revival Audelco Awards. Notable among these productions is "Reunion in Bartersville," produced by The Black Spectrum Theatre and showcased at the NBTF in 2019. Additionally, Gil was in "A Soldiers Play," produced by The Negro Ensemble Company, where he portrayed Sgt. Waters and received the esteemed Best Featured Actor Audelco Award in 2018.

Continuing to excel in his craft, Gil appeared in the 2022 production of "Greenwood" with the Obsidian Media Group at the NBTF. Beyond his stage work, Gil has also made a mark in the world of film, accumulating an impressive list of film credits.
